Fees

Mediations may be conducted virtually or in person.

Mediations are billed at a flat daily rate, which includes all preparation time, at least one pre-mediation phone call with counsel for each side, a full day of mediation, and reasonable follow up as needed. The base rate is $10,500 for a single plaintiff, full-day mediation. The base rate is $12,000 for a class/PAGA/representative action full-day mediation. These base rates may be adjusted depending on the following:

• Number of plaintiffs/claimants
• Travel outside the San Francisco Bay Area
• The actual cost, if any, of the mediation space for matters in which the mediator is asked to provide an in-person location

Half day mediations (4 hours in session) are also available. The base rate for a single plaintiff, half-day mediation is $6,000.

If the mediation fees are not received in a timely manner, the mediation date may be released.

Eidelhoch Mediation is happy to divide the fees in any manner agreed by the parties. Unless instructed otherwise, fees will be split evenly between the parties in two-party cases.

Fees will be refunded in full if the mediation is canceled at least 2 weeks before the scheduled mediation date.
